POLYIMIDE FILM

PURPOSE: A polyimide film is provided to use as a base film of TAB or COF with the improved drug resistance, and to secure the dimensional stability of a flexible circuit board with the low hygroscopic property. CONSTITUTION: A polyimide film is obtained by an imidization of polyamic acid, and has the alkali resistance index over 98% and the flexibility over 20,000. The polyamic acid is obtained biphenyltetracarboxylic acid or an aromatic tetra carboxylic acid component including its functional derivative, and an aromatic diamine component including p-phenylene diamine and diaminodiphenyl ether.
