<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic document processing method, capable of extracting information of a document structure by the designation of a difference set, not only a union set, without program amendment application-by-application, at the designation of a search object element in a set file by the use of XPath etc. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic document processing method includes: a structural information input step for inputting structural information that describes the document structure of a document data described in a markup language; a set information input step for inputting set information that defines a structural unit of the document structure to be excluded from the structural unit object of the document structure to be extracted from the document data; and a structural information output step for outputting the structural information in which the structural unit information of the document structure defined in the set information is excluded, among the structural units of the document structure described in the structural information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
