<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a caliper body for a vehicular disc brake, allowing easy and reliable finishing work in an accuracy-required opening portion after casting, and to provide the caliper body. <P>SOLUTION: In angle portions C1 between each of torque supporting faces 3p which are provided on operation portions 3a, 3b of the caliper body 3, respectively, and a cylinder hole opening side wall face 3u of the opening portion 3d, perpendicular to the torque supporting face 3p, escape recessed portions 3v are formed for a working blade 30 which performs cutting work for the torque supporting face 3p and the cylinder hole opening side wall face 3u, when casting the caliper body 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
