PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify short and long squitters received from an aircraft and use them effectively in capturing the aircraft.
SOLUTION: An aircraft control radar includes: a response determining means 132a for determining whether or not a received signal is a response signal to an interrogation signal; a DF unit reliability determining means 132c which, if the response determining means determines that the received signal is not a response signal, determines reliability as to whether or not the received signal matches a set format defined as squitter, and determining whether or not there is an error at a DF unit which identifies the signal to be either a short or long squitter by use of the determination of the reliability; and an extraction means 132e for extracting the short or long squitter according to the data length of the received signal if the DF unit reliability determining means determines that there is an error at the DF unit although the received signal matches the set format.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
|
