<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in a conventional server device wherein, it is difficult to balance high processing ability with power saving. <P>SOLUTION: This power saving method of a server device is used in a server device including first and second network interfaces for transmitting/receiving data based on an instruction from a calculation section for executing a process in accordance with a program. In the power saving method, the communication band of the first network interface is set to a wide band; the communication band of the second network interface is set to a narrow band; a process during execution in the calculation section is allocated to either of the first and second network interfaces in accordance with preset process band definition information; and the communication bands of the first and second network interfaces are controlled in accordance with transmission/reception volumes of data in the first and second network interfaces. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
