PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search a specific object in many objects without having an influence on images stored in a storing means. SOLUTION: An infrared cut filter 22 is provided between a lens 20 and a CCD 24 having sensitivity to visible light and infrared light in a movable way between a first position at which the infrared cut filter 22 makes visible light incident on the CCD 24 and shields infrared light and a second position at which the infrared cut filter 22 makes the visible light and the infrared light incident on the CCD 24. Upon photographing a specific object 70 with an infrared light emitting device 50 attached thereto, a search button is pressed down (102), the infrared cut filter 22 is moved to the second position, a light emitting pattern of the infrared light emitting device 50 is identified from a photographed image (110), and the position of the specific object 70 that is identified is displayed on an LCD (114). Upon storing photographed image data in a memory 38, the infrared cut filter 22 is moved to the first position (118), and infrared light is cut so as to prevent the infrared light from being reflected in a stored image.
