摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular steering device capable of suppressing the disturbance of the traveling locus of a vehicle even if an abnormality occurs in the wheel turning operation of rear wheels in the vehicle capable of turning front and rear wheels. SOLUTION: An electronic control unit 56 determines whether a rear wheel turning unit 40 is in an operational malfunction or not. When the rear wheel turning unit 40 is in the operational malfunction, the unit 56 suppresses the change of the traveling locus of the vehicle, in other words, in order to suppress the change of a yaw rateγgenerated in the vehicle, the rotational angleδvg' of a wheel turning output shaft 13 coupled with a variable gear ratio actuator 20 is computed taking into consideration the present wheel turning angleδars of right and left rear wheels RE1, RW2. When the rotational angleδvg' is computed in this manner, the unit 56 computes the target rotational angleΘh of a VGRS motor 21 in order to turn the wheel turning output shaft 13 to the rotational angleδvg', and a drive shaft 21a of the motor 21 is turned to the target rotational angleΘh.
