<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To match output results of characters and line drawings among different image forming apparatuses. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus is so controlled as to store extracted text information and another extracted text information in an associated manner in an HDD24b and to store extracted line drawing information and another line drawing information in an associated manner in the HDD24b. A printer engine 28 is so controlled as to form and output an image based on the extracted text information and the extracted line drawing information, on a paper, on a basis of the contents registered in a line drawing information substitution table and a text information substitution table.
