<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for injection molding capable of stably obtaining a foam molded article excellent in appearance wherein defective molding is hardly caused and defective appearance such as a swirl mark is hardly caused. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The mold 1 for injection molding is equipped with a first mold 2 and a second mold 3 which is incorporated with the first mold 2 to form a cavity (A) in the inner part. Grooves 7-10 wherein one end is connected to the cavity (A) and the other end is extended to the outer space are formed on the surface 3a of at least one parting line side of the first mold 2 and the second mold 3, gas flow passages are formed by the grooves 7-10, and weirs 7a-10a are formed in the grooves 7-10 so as to cross the grooves 7-10. The cross-sectional area of the gas flow passage of a part having the weirs 7a-10a formed is made smaller than that of the other part of the gas flow passage by the weirs 7a-10a.
