PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small chip dryer capable of effectively drying vegetable chips. SOLUTION: In the chip dryer 1, a storage and drying chamber 21 having opposing two inner faces 21a, 21a inclined in directions reverse to each other and formed to have an approximately box shape wide toward the end and a carrying front chamber 23 are provided within a pentagon casing 2 rectangular in front face view and vertically long in side face view. An air supply body 3 for supplying heating gas to the storage and drying chamber 21 is arranged within the storage and drying chamber 21. The air supply body 3 is arranged to cross inside of the storage and drying chamber 21 in the width direction, and includes two net bodies 31, 31 arranged approximately in parallel with the two inner faces 21a, 21a of the storage and drying chamber 21 and provided on the surface. The net bodies 31, 31 of the air supply body 3 are inclined in directions reveres to each other, and arranged to become wide toward the end in the cross section.
