<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball screw device in which a stator core is disposed at a position having little restriction in outer diameter to increase the outer diameter of the stator core, and the design flexibility of a motor is enhanced to shorten the whole length. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A mounting flange 11 is provided in the vicinity of the upper end 10a of a housing 10. The stator core 4a is disposed below the mounting flange 11.
