A planar heating unit comprises an upper surface first insulating layer (1), a lower surface third insulating layer (6), and at least one heating layer provided between the two insulating layers. The heating layer comprises a first electroconductive heating layer (2), a second electroconductive heating layer (4), and a second insulating layer (3) provided between the two electroconductive heating layers. The two electroconductive heating layers are of the same shape. One electrode is provided respectively on each end of the two electroconductive heating layers. The electrode on one end of the first electroconductive heating layer (2) is connected to the power source (9), the electrode on the same end of the second electroconductive heating layer (4) is also connected to the power source (9). The electrodes on the other end of the two electroconductive heating layers are connected to eath other by a conductor (8). When being powered, the current directions in the two electroconductive heating layers are opposite, so the directions of the magnetic fields created by the two electroconductive heating layers are opposite. Thus the magnetic fields created by the two electroconductive heating layers counteract with each other, thereby almost no electromagnetic radiation is created by the planar heating unit.
|
