PURPOSE: A coupling for a washing machine and a washing machine including the same are provided to prevent the tooth forms of a coupling and a rotation stopper from damaged by forcibly descending the coupling by a second clutch member while dehydrating processing. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine comprises a water tub, a dehydration bath, a pulsator which is formed in the inside of the dehydration bath, a drive motor, a dehydration shaft which transfers torque to the dehydration bath, a washing shaft, and a power switch on/off device which comprises a clutch device(130) and a coupling(140). The clutch device comprises an actuator and a clutch part. The coupling is pressurized with the clutch device to one direction and transfers the driving force of the drive motor to the washing shaft and the dehydration shaft.
