<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pouch lithium secondary battery, configured so that the position of an electrode tub projecting out of a pouch can be easily adjusted. <P>SOLUTION: The pouch lithium secondary battery includes: an electrode assembly 110, a pouch 120 for housing the electrode assembly 110, and a variable tub 130 which is electrically connected to one of two electrode tubs 114 and 115 of the electrode assembly 110, and drawn out of the pouch 120 in parallel to the other electrode tub. Since the variable tub 130 is adjustable in position relative to the electrode tube to which it is electrically connected, the position of the electrode tub projecting out of the pouch 120 can be easily adjusted during the assembling process. Thus, the flexibility in design of a battery pack particularly in a battery having a large area is improved, whereby rapid response to consumer's request can be attained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
