<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory write method for reducing the frequency of writing to a nonvolatile memory (EEPROM or the like) in an optical transceiver in an adjustment process and the like before a product is shipped. <P>SOLUTION: According to the memory write method by the optical transceiver which includes an optical transmission sub-assembly, an optical reception sub-assembly, an EEPROM, a RAM, and a controller unit accessible to the EEPROM and the RAM, the controller unit stores adjustment data to the RAM (S13) in response to a write request of the adjustment data of the optical transceiver (S12) and writes the adjustment data stored to the RAM to the EEPROM together with a check code (S15) in response to a write request of the check code to the adjustment data (S14). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
