<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container cap constituted of a metallic thin plate shell and a synthetic resin liner in which liquid adhered to the lower surface of the liner is sufficiently prevented from or restricted against flowing-out of the container lid even if the container cap removed and separated from a neck of the container is inclined. <P>SOLUTION: This container cap has a plurality of ribs 50 spaced apart in a peripheral direction and radially extending between the lower surface peripheral edge of a thin-walled circular central part 38 of a synthetic resin liner 14 and an inner peripheral surface upper end of a thick-walled peripheral edge 40.
