PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polybenzazole composite having an excellent anisotropic function and improved physical properties, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The polybenzazole composite includes a polybenzazole and a physical property-adjusting material. In the composite, molecular chains of the polybenzazole is oriented to a definite direction. Furthermore, the composite is impregnated with the physical property-adjusting material between the molecular chains of the polybenzazole.
