PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment for conveying a hot-rolled steel pipe, which prevents the generation of the bend of a pipe caused by uneven cooling. SOLUTION: This equipment for conveying hot-rolled steel pipes is provided with a plurality of rollers 1 which are arranged with a predetermined interval therebetween in the conveyance direction and a plurality of roller driving motors 2 which are connected to each roller 1 and controls the rotation of each roller. Each roller 1 is mounted rotatably on a chain conveyer 3 for conveyance through roller bearings 6a and roller holders 6b and each roller 1 is held freely rotatably so that each roller 1 is not brought into contact with the chain conveyer 3 for conveyance in the state where a cylindrical hot-rolled steel pipe W is placed on adjacent rollers.
