摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsule endoscope capable of reducing the internal space of a capsule by devising the layout of an electricity receiving means and a communication means, contributing to the miniaturization itself, and improving the transmitting/receiving sensitivity in transmitting/receiving signals or the receiving sensitivity in receiving electric power. SOLUTION: The capsule endoscope 1 includes an illumination unit 15, a photographing optical system 16, an imaging element 17, a driving control circuit 18 for the imaging element, a signal processing circuit 19 for processing the output signals of the imaging element, a receiving coil 12 for receiving electricity fed from the outside, a transmission antenna 22 for transmitting the image signals to the outside, and an insulating capsule cover 11 forming the exterior part. In the capsule endoscope, at least one of the receiving coil and the transmitting antenna 22 is embedded in the cover member so as to be put in between, and both outside and inside of the cover member are insulated by the cover member, and only an electrical contact or a connection line which electrically connect the receiving coil or the transmitting antenna to an electric constitution member in the cover member, is placed in a manner that it is exposed in the internal side of the cover member made watertight by the cover member.
