PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection device for projecting an image with easy operation without various adjustment. SOLUTION: The projection device includes: a projection unit having an optical system which projects an image P; a housing 4 which stores the projection unit; a first face, provided to the housing 4, which serves as a distance reference surface for defining a distance from a projection window 8 formed in the housing 4 to a projection surface G where the image P is projected, and as a first installation surface of the housing 4 used in installation of the housing 4; and a second face, provided to the housing 4, which orthogonally intersects the first face and serves as a second installation surface of the housing 4 used in the installation of the housing 4.
