<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens driving device where leakage flux of a magnet is suppressed, and a camera module in which the lens driving device is mounted. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The lens driving device includes: a holder 10 that holds a lens and can move in an optical axis direction of a lens; a magnet 20 that surrounds the lens from a radial direction of the lens and is fixed in the holder; a coil that is opposed to the magnet 20 in the radial direction; and a magnetic plate 70 that is opposed to the magnet 20 in the radial direction and is arranged on the outside in the radial direction further than the coil.
