<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inkjet recording method and apparatus whereby a high-quality image can be formed by preventing image irregularities generated when the image is recorded by sucking and conveying a recording medium. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the case of drawing the image by hitting ink droplets to the recording medium sucked and conveyed by a drawing drum with suction holes, dot data is changed between when the ink droplets are hit to a suction part and when the ink droplets are hit to a non suction part. The change method includes (1) the method of changing a liquid droplet amount of the ink droplets, (2) the method of correcting an input image, and (3) the method of changing the number of dots per unit area.
