<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a better treatment method for infectious wastes such as blood, body fluids, and a normal saline solution after cleansing wounded areas and hot-water soluble treatment bags containing the infectious waste, and to provide an extremely effective treatment apparatus. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Water in a dissolving tank 1 is made into the hot-water at 90°C or higher by an in-water heater 5 with which the bottom part of the dissolving tank 1 is equipped. The liquid infectious wastes, the hot-water soluble treatment bags for putting the liquid infectious wastes, or the same type of bags as the treatment bags which are put in the dissolving tank 1 are brought into contact with the hot-water. Then, the hot-water soluble treatment bags or the same type of bags as the treatment bags are dissolved, and the liquid infectious wastes are boiled. After that, a water level is increased by filling water in the dissolving tank 1 while the polluted water is cooled. The polluted water is discharged to a sewage system from U-shaped piping 2 connected to the bottom part of the dissolving tank 1 by using a siphon phenomenon. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
