<p>Provided are a contactor having higher mechanical strength than conventional products, a method of manufacturing the contactor, and a connection device. In a plan view, an elastic arm (12) is formed in a convolution shape in which the tip (12b) is located further toward the inner side of the convolution than the base end (12a), the elastic arm (12) has a three-dimensional shape rising upward from the base end (12a) toward the tip (12b), and the tip (12b) is provided at a position separated away from the centroid (O) of the elastic arm (12). Also, in the plan view, if a reference line connecting the centroid (O) and the tip (12b) is XO, the contactor is provided with an elastic arm strip which is located outside the tip (12b) relative to the centroid (O), is formed so as to cross the reference line (XO), and has a width (T1) at the position of the crossing, and also with an elastic arm strip which is located outside the centroid (O) relative to the tip (12b), is formed so as to cross the reference line (XO), and has a width (T2) at the position of the crossing.
