A battery pack comprises: a voltage determining unit that determines the voltage of a battery unit constituted by a plurality of chargeable/dischargeable secondary batteries; a current determining unit that determines a current flowing in the battery unit; a dischargeable capacity calculating unit that calculates, based on the current determined by the current determining unit, the dischargeable capacity of the battery unit; and a capacity correcting unit that corrects the remaining capacity of the battery unit including the dischargeable capacity calculated by the dischargeable capacity calculating unit. When the voltage of the battery unit becomes equal to or less than a predetermined threshold value, the capacity correcting unit corrects the remaining capacity on the basis of an estimated dischargeable capacity calculated from a relationship between a predetermined voltage and a voltage drop rate of the battery unit.
