<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical body capable of transmitting light having a wavelength band other than a specific wavelength band, while reflecting directionally and selectively light having the specific wavelength band. <P>SOLUTION: This optical body includes an optical layer having an incident surface from which light enters and a wavelength selective reflection film formed in the optical layer. The wavelength selective reflection film reflects directionally and selectively the light having the specific wavelength band, while transmitting light having a wavelength band other than the specific wavelength band. The optical body reflects directionally and selectively the light having the specific wavelength band out of light incident on the incident surface at angles of incidence (θ, ϕ) (wherein, θ: angle between a perpendicular to the incident surface and incident light incident on the incident surface or the reflected light emitted from the incident surface, ϕ: angle between a specific straight line within the incident surface and a component which is obtained by projecting the incident light or the reflected light on the incident surface) in a direction other than regular reflection (-θ, ϕ+ 180°), while transmitting the light having a wavelength band other the specific wavelength band, and having the transparency to the light having the wavelength band other than the specific wavelength band. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
