PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aliphatic/alicyclic-copolymerized petroleum resin composition having excellent adhesion in unvulcanization and mechanical properties of a rubber composition after vulcanization and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises a diene-based rubber component, an aliphatic/alicyclic-copolymerized petroleum resin having an area ratio of olefinic double bond hydrogen of≤13% in a proton NMR spectrum and a hindered amine compound.
