<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for developing an electrostatic charge image having excellent light resistance, capable of forming a high-saturation color image having a bright color tone free from color muddiness, and to provide an image forming method. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the toner for developing an electrostatic charge image including toner particles including at least a binding resin and a coloring agent, the coloring agent constituting the toner particle includes C.I. solvent blue 63.
