SOLUTION: This invention provides a method for producing agglomerated crystal particles of nickel hydroxide crystals and cobalt hydroxide crystals, having a tap density of 1.50-2.50 g/cm<SP>3</SP>and an average particle diameter of 3.00-30.00 &mu;m, which method is characterized in that when the nickel hydroxide particles are formed by the neutralization reaction of an acidic aqueous solution of nickel (2+) with an aqueous alkali solution, a cobalt hydroxide slurry is added to the reaction system.
