<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel-type game machine which can control reels to avoid disadvantage suffered by players. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the reel-type game machine such as a slot machine, the control of reels is carried out to avoid spoiling the favors arranged for the types of winning hit as caused by the players' reel stop operation. When the stop operation is conducted in a range for allowing the drawing of symbols corresponding to the types of winning earned by the internal lottery, the sequence of symbols on reels is applied so as to avoid the situation in which the mode of the stop symbols to be displayed at the stoppage of the reels presents the lineup of win symbols corresponding to a plurality of types of winning. Furthermore, the control of the reels is made especially when a prescribed type of winning is earned, thereby restraining excessive awarding of game values or avoiding the forcible consumption of excessive game values.
