摘要 <p>Disclosed is a method for producing a (meth)acrylic acid ester, including reacting an alcohol (A) represented by formulae (2) to (5) with an acid anhydride (B) such as (meth)acrylic acid anhydride (B1) in the presence of a catalyst containing a compound represented by formula (1): MaXb (1), wherein M represents an element in Group 4 to Group 12 in the periodic table or the like; X represents a halogen atom or SO4; and a and b each independently represent an integer of 1 or more.  In formulae (2) to (5), R1 represents a hydrogen atom or the like; R2, R3, and R4 independently represent an alkyl group which has 1 to 6 carbon atoms and may have a halogen atom; Z1 and Z2 independently represent a monocyclic or polycyclic nonaromatic cyclic group; A represents a linking group; k represents 0 or 1; m represents an integer of 0 to 3; n represents an integer of 0 to 3; and p represents an integer of 1 to 3.  According to this production method, a (meth)acrylic acid ester or the like having a lactone ring useful as a constituent monomer of a polymeric compound for photoresist or the like can be industrially efficiently produced in high yield and at low cost.</p>
