Disclosed is a liquid crystal display apparatus (100), in which at least a part of a circuit board (16) is held on an outer side surface (30B) of a frame (30) by a board clip (50) mounted on the outer side surface (30B) of the frame (30).  The board clip (50) is provided with a main body in the form of a plate, arranged to be opposed to the outer side surface (30B) of the frame (30), front side engagement portions (54, 55), and a pair of rear side engagement portions (56, 57).  Bezel placement portions (60) with which a part of the peripheral portion of a bezel (20) can be brought into contact are formed in the vicinity of the front side engagement portions (54, 55).
