<p>PURPOSE: A multi touch input device and a method thereof are provided to use a resistive touch panel while not changing a structure of a resistive touch panel, thereby detecting a multi touch input. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(11) indicates an image. A detection unit(12) detects a discontinuous change of touch input coordinates and the movement of the touch input coordinates after the discontinuous change. A controller(13) begins a multi touch mode corresponding to the discontinuous change and operates the image according to the movement of the touch input coordinates. The discontinuous change is generated by the second touch input as the other touch input with the inputted first touch input.</p> |
