<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating system capable of preventing damage to components in the system. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The heating system includes: a heat exchanger 11 for generating warm water M by heat exchange between heating fluid S and cold water C; a check valve 32 provided in a cold water passage 12 for guiding the cold water C from a water supply source WA to the heat exchanger 11; and a relief valve 35 provided in the cold water passage 12 between the check valve 32 and the heat exchanger 11 and preventing an excessive increase in pressure in the cold water passage 12.
