POWER CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD, AND PROGRAM FOR CONTROLLING POWER CONTROL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem met when an apparatus is operated: in case power has been used to the level at which a circuit breaker trips, an apparatus a user desired to use cannot be used unless he/she consciously performs operation to reduce the power of the other apparatuses in operation to increase the amount of available power.

SOLUTION: A power controller 3 includes a priority setting unit 16 with which the use priorities of household electrical appliances wirelessly or wiredly connected or adaptors connected to the household electrical appliances can be set. The household electrical appliances or the adaptors connected to the household electrical appliances operate within an available power range acquired as the result of an inquiry to the power controller 3. When the available power range is lower than required power about which an inquiry is made, the power controller 3 reduces the power of apparatuses whose priorities are lower than that of the inquiring apparatus to use the apparatus of the higher priority.
