Fatty acid esters of C6-26 fatty acids and polyvalent alcohols selected from 1,2-propylene glycol, dipropylene glycol, tripropylene glycol, triethylene glycol, glycerine, ditrimethylolpropane, neopentyl glycol, 2-methylpropane-1,3-diol, 1,4-butanediol, 1,6-hexanediol, 1,4-cyclohexanediol, 2-methylpentane-2,4-diol, 2-ethylhexane-1,3-diol, 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,3-pentanediol, 1,3-cyclohexanedimethanol, 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol and hydroxypivalylhydroxypivalate are suitable as solvents for offset printing inks.
