OSCILLATION-TYPE LINEAR ACTUATOR

Disclosed is an oscillation-type linear actuator which is provided with: a pair of movable elements (R) that are provided with a permanent magnet and a back yoke, are arranged in parallel next to each other, and are driven in a direction orthogonal to the parallel arrangement direction; and an electromagnetic core block that is provided with an electromagnet and is disposed facing the movable elements with an intervening gap. In each movable element, the back yoke is inserted from the outside of the parallel arrangement direction of the movable elements into an engagement space provided in a resin movable element housing. Each back yoke has a magnetic circuit in the center of the reciprocating motion direction of the movable element. On either side of the magnetic circuit, a pair of arms extends from the back end to the front end in the direction of said insertion. At the end of said direction of insertion of the engagement space, an opposing wall that faces the tip of the arm is provided. With said linear actuator, a thinner back yoke is achieved, and a movable element and actuator as a whole can be reduced in size.
