Disclosed is a head-mounted display, which analyzes a captured image, a portion or more whereof that falls within a user's visual scope has been captured, and determines, based on the results of the analysis thereof, whether the user's hand lies within the captured image region. When the user's hand is determined to lie within the captured image region, the head-mounted display commences playback of primary manual information, whereas if a standard time passes without a determination that the user's hand lies within the captured image region, the head-mounted display switches from the playback of primary manual information to playback of auxiliary manual information. If it is determined that the user's hand does not lie within the captured image region during playback of either the primary manual information or the auxiliary manual information, the head-mounted display shuts down playback of either the primary manual information or the auxiliary manual information that is being played back.
|
