PURPOSE: A preprocessing apparatus of an MIMO(Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) system and a method thereof are provided to improve performance by using low calculation complexity and a small amount of feedback information. CONSTITUTION: A feedback processing unit(160) calculates preprocessing matrix by using channel state information received from a receiving device. The first preprocessor(130) rotates a phase of a symbol by using the preprocessing matrix from the feedback processing unit. The first preprocessor generates the first transmitting signal. The second preprocessor(140) transmits the first transmitting signal from the first preprocessor through a plurality of transmitting antennas. The second preprocessor transmits the second transmitting signal through a plurality of transmitting antennas.
