<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless base station of adaptive array system which prevents generation of noise (jarring and grating sounds) from the signal even when a wireless mobile station receives a signal transmitted to another path-multiplexed mobile station. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When two mobile stations, PS-A and PS-B, are path-multiplexed, a clock generating part 52 generates a clock by shifting a transmission time of a symbol to the mobile station PS-B by a 0.5 symbol period from a transmission time of a symbol to the mobile station PS-A. By such adjustment of transmission timing as this, even if a mobile station receives a symbol transmitted to another path-multiplexed mobile station, reception time of the symbol is shifted from reception time of a symbol to own station and is not synchronizing to each other, and the received symbol to another mobile station is not demodulated as before; therefore, meaningless noise (jarring and grating sounds) are not generated.
