<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air volume control device and a method of controlling an air volume capable of controlling an exhaust air volume at a high speed. <P>SOLUTION: The air volume control device includes a signal measuring section 1 taking an input signal from a fume hood including an openable and closable sash, an input signal variation detecting section 2 detecting a variation of the input signal, and a control operating section 3 operating the exhaust air volume of the fume hood by each control operation period on the basis of the input signal measured by the signal measuring section 1 to control the exhaust air volume, and switching a control operation period to a period shorter than an ordinary period when the variation of the input signal is detected by the input signal variation detecting section 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
