<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that it is difficult to joint a base and a lead excellently in a cold cathode fluorescent discharge lamp. <P>SOLUTION: The base 11 for installing on a discharge tube includes a base body 12 made of metal having an inner diameter for inserting a glass tube 4 of the discharge tube, a lead connection part 13, and a jointing part 14. The discharge tube includes a pair of leads which are led out respectively from both the end parts of the glass tube to the outside of the glass tube. The leads are plastic deformed so as to facilitate welding, and are formed so that the lead and the lead connection part are welded and joined after the base body is installed on the glass tube. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
