PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, wherein a toner-collecting device which stores waste toner and is removably attached to the body of an image forming apparatus by an electrophotographic recording system, the waste toner stored inside is not made uniform, even though a conveying spiral conveying toner is provided in the inside, so that it is difficult to store the toner of an amount corresponding to the toner storage capacity. SOLUTION: The conveying spiral 54 conveying the toner inside is arranged in the collecting container 52 of the toner-collecting device 51. A coil spring 58, which can run idle, when the rotational load due to the toner the density of which is high is large at the top end 54d in which the density of the conveyed toner is high is arranged, and an overload generated in this part is prevented from affecting the rotational drive means of the conveying spiral 54, such as, drive motor.
