<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the positional shift of a turnup part of a deployment regulation sheet. <P>SOLUTION: This airbag device includes an airbag 1, an inflator 7 for supplying generated gas to deploy the airbag 1, an airbag case 3 for mounting the inflator 7 and storing the airbag 1, a retainer 6 for fixing a peripheral edge of an opening of the airbag 1 to the airbag case 3, and the deployment regulation sheet 11 for covering the airbag 1 from a rear side of a vehicle body to a front side when storing the airbag 1. The deployment regulation sheet 11 temporarily sews 11d the turnup part 11c to be separated under a prescribed load A. On one end 11a side located on the front side of the vehicle body, a breaking part 11e to be broken under a prescribed load B larger than the load A is provided. The one end 11a is mounted on an airbag body, while the other end 11b is attached to the airbag body.
