PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber bundle which is easily manufactured and allows even a feeble light reception signal to be surely guided to an inspection apparatus, wherein an optical fiber for light irradiation and optical fibers for light reception are tied in a bundle, and also to provide an endoscope system using the same. SOLUTION: The optical fiber for irradiation light is arranged at the center of the fiber bundle and the optical fibers for light reception with diagonally cut light reception end surfaces are arranged in the circumference. Thus, reflection light or fluorescence from a subject, based on irradiation light radiated to the subject, is received by the multiple optical fibers for light reception.
