<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent paper from turning up in configuration where gas is jetted to the paper to dry the paper. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A printer 1 includes a recording part 2 and an ink drying part 3 from an upstream side to a downstream side in a paper conveying direction. The ink drying part 3 includes a drying device 15, which accelerates drying of ink by jetting the gas to the recording paper P from jetting holes (22a to 22c) formed on a nozzle plate 22. The nozzle plate 22 is formed so that its base may be recessed. Thus, in the paper conveying direction, the jetting hole 22a constituting a first group Y1 is formed such that its warm air jetting direction turns to a downstream side in the paper conveying direction, and the jetting hole 22c constituting a second group Y2 is formed such that its warm air jetting direction turns to an upstream side in the paper conveying direction. Since warm air jetted from the jetting hole 22a constituting the first group Y1 turns to the downstream side when a leading edge of the paper enters the drying device 15, the leading edge of the paper is prevented from turning up.
