A solar cell pre-lamination assembly comprises a film or sheet comprising an amine-neutralized ionomer composition and a solar cell component comprising electronically interconnected solar cells. The solar cell component has a light-receiving side that faces a light source and a back side. The amine-neutralized ionomer is derived from an acid copolymer that comprises copolymerized units of an alpha -olefin having 2-lOC and 9-35 wt. % of an alpha,beta -ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid having 3-8C; and 1-90 wt.% neutralized with neutralizing agent(s) that include amine(s).
