The arrangement (10) has a console element (14) which rotatably mounts a cover i.e. luggage compartment lid, at a body (12) of a motor vehicle i.e. passenger car, where the cover is adjusted relative to the body. The console element is adjustable relative to the body in a vehicle transverse direction (26) and/or in a vehicle longitudinal direction (28) by three passage openings (18, 20, 22) i.e. slotted holes, for adjusting a position of the cover. An attachment area is provided in the console element.
