<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for refining and converting a feedstock being a heavy hydrocarbon fraction containing, particularly, sulfur-containing impurities, nitrogen-containing impurities and metallic impurities. <P>SOLUTION: The method for hydrocracking the hydrocarbon feedstock containing asphaltenes of 200 ppm by weight to 2 wt.% and/or metals of >10 ppm by weight comprises the steps of: hydrodemetallation treatment in at least two switchable reaction zones M1, M2 containing a hydrodemetallation catalyst and optionally a hydrodenitrification catalyst; then hydrorefining treatment to lower the organic nitrogen content; fixed-bed hydrocracking treatment; and distillation to recover a gas oil fraction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
