PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent useless exposure to a subject by promptly interrupting or stopping tomosynthesis image capturing when there is the risk of obtaining an inappropriate reconstructed tomographic image. SOLUTION: The tomographic image capturing apparatus 10 comprises: a radiation source 12 capable of applying radiation to a subject 28 at a plurality of different angles; a radiation detector (radiation conversion panel 30) for detecting respective radiations 20 which have passed through the subject 28 and converting them into image data respectively; a tomographic image reconstructing means (image processing part 42) for reconstructing the respective image data and generating a reconstructed tomographic image; and an image capturing continuation determining means (image capturing continuation determining part 44) for determining whether or not to continue image-capturing of the subject 28 based on the reconstructed tomographic image.
